A glass of fresh, ice cold lemonade is definitely my top pick for a hot summer afternoon.
Personal favorite recipe:
Step 1: Make some ”simple syrup”. Mix 6-7 tablespoons of sugar and a glass of water and boil them for 5 minutes (until the sugar dissolves completely). Remove from heat.
Step 2: Squeeze 5-6 lemons (until you have a full glass).
Step 3: Pour the lemon juice and the simple syrup in a pitcher and add 3 glasses of cold water, some ice and slices of lemon and/or lime and stir.
